Hi, I'm Sophia! 👋
I'm a senior product designer who fell in love with design making MySpace layouts in Corel Paintshop Pro (couldn't afford Adobe, figured it out anyway). Now I design products that make workflows easier and look good doing it! Whether that's helping professors spend less time fighting with tech and more time teaching, or making sure government services actually work for everyone.
I'm known for designing live while people explain their ideas. I'm not shy about working in front of others because I want to capture what they're actually saying, not what I think they said. I care about the details: accessible alt text, smooth animations, properly labeled files, and making sure every pixel is intentional.
I've increased engagement 30%, reduced errors 20%, and pushed back when business goals forgot about actual customers. I believe in collaboration over perfection, research over assumptions, and that as the great Whitney Houston said, the children are our future.
Great design isn't linear — neither is the journey.
